Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnne Kymes was also one of the two youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer-songwriter and bluegrass country musician. Born on July 23, 1971. She began her career in the industry at an early age winning local contests by the age of 10 and recording for the first time at 14. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and recorded her first single album, a solo one in the year 1987. The album was also a part of the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she still performs. Later, in 1989 her first solo album debuted in conjunction with the band.
