Meagan and Kara
Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was in her teens at the time she was employed at Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman in LAPD. She grew up living in Canyon Country with her three siblings in California. At the age of 4 she started acting. At the beginning of her career she worked as an actor on TV shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. She was 13 when she made her debut in the film, Friday. The film first caught the attention of her role as the troubled teen Cisely Batiste in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she was awarded two nominations including her very first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good was first seen in tiny roles in films and on TV for a couple of years after which she moved on to adult roles in the early 2000s. She was Nina on Cousin Skeeter, a Nickelodeon T.V. show from 1998 to 2001. She was also cast in tiny roles in the movies House Party down to the end of the Minute and 3 Strikes. The actress played Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. She starred in D.E.B.S in 2004, an action-comedy movie that got her nominated for Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards in 2005. In the following years, she was in a variety of films, including You've Got Yourself Served, Cookout and Venom, One Missed call Waist Deep and The Love Guru. Following a busy year on T.V. and in films her roles included Mya as well as Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man starring an impressive cast, and Dysfunctional Friends, which starred a smaller group. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Born in Texas Killmer was a student of Baylor University in Waco Texas from where she obtained a B.F.A. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010 in the field of performing arts. She began her screen career with the web series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer's career on screen began in the year 2010 when she appeared on the pilot episode of Simon Fuller's Hulu television series If I Can Dream. This reality series revolves around an ensemble of actors who live in an Hollywood California house.
