Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. She is best known as anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a cohost of the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in the award-winning coverage by CNN of the presidential election 2012 and 2016. Bolduan was a correspondent from Washington, DC covering activities in and around the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan is part of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on legislative cycles and congress activities, including talks to increase the federal loan limit and the Super Committee deliberations. The work she has done for her general assignments included reports regarding Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. The company hired her CNN Newsource as a National Correspondent in 2007. As a national reporter, she covered breaking news and feature news to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates.
